Quality Control / Assurance
Forgeron Engineering Limited provides a wide range of quality related engineering services to organizations that require assistance with their quality control or quality assurance program. Whether it is a generic training program, a certified auditor course, the development of a manual or the implementation of full quality management system our QA team will help you meet your quality objectives.
In the past we have provided training, supplier surveillance, quality system assessment and management system implementation support. Additionally, we have developed manuals and programs for a variety of quality control and quality assurance standards including ASME, CSA W178.1, ISO 9000 and National Board.
In the past we have drawn up numerous Quality Control Manuals which have been approved by the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education. As of April 1st, 2011, the new regulations found under the Technical Safety Act will become effective. The new Boiler and Pressure Equipment Regulations state that a contractor working on this equipment will require a contractors license. To get this contractors license, you will need to have an approved Quality Control program. That's where we come in, we will work with you to help you develop a QC Manual, which in will be submitted Department of Labour and Advance Education for approval. Once approved it will be possible to get the contractors license described in the regulation.
