Man Lifts

We have been involved in the inspection, repair and certification on almost every variety of Man Lift. These lifts include:

• Zoom Booms
• Forklift Operated Man Baskets
• Scissor Lifts
• Boom Trucks, equipped with a man basket
• Crane Operated Man Baskets
• Travel Staging

Typically we are contacted to certify an existing man lift, although we can also design new man baskets for use with a crane or forlift. The certification process involves an inspection of the Man Lift. If the Man Lift is new to us, we would likely contact the supplier for a capacity on the basket (300 lbs, or one person with his tools). A report will then be issued stating the deficiencies if any are found. Once the deficiencies have been corrected a load test will be completed, this load test will test all components of the Man Lift. Once the load test is successfully completed a certificate of inspection will be issued. This acts as the Man Lifts Certification, and is valid for one year from the time of the test.
